SSC 2019 Scholarships

The Scholarship Winners of the batch of SSC 2019 were presented with their awards at a ceremony in the school hall on the 18th of July.

Mihir Rumao won 5 scholarships : The St Augustine’s Andrades Prize,the Cizubai M Lopes Prize,the Irene Pereira Prize,the Anthony A Lopes Scholarship and the Ignatius P Menezes Prize – for standing first in the SSC,and for getting the highest marks in English,Marathi and Maths and second highest marks in Science.
Murtaza Sapatwala won 3 scholarships: The Bernard Dias Prize,the Mr and Mrs Rosemary Thomas Gonsalves of Old Barampur Award and the David D’Silva Scholarship – for getting the highest marks in Social Studies,second highest in English and securing the third rank in the SSC Exams.
Prakhar Chaube won 2 scholarships:The Lily Menezes Prize and the Shelukar’s Endowment Fund Prize – for scoring the highest marks in science and for securing the second rank in the SSC Exams.
Aryan Mehta won the Br R C Whiting Prize for getting the highest marks in Hindi.
Nishant Patil won the Br R C Whiting Scholarship for getting the second highest marks in maths.
Tanay Patil shared the Anthony A Lopes Scholarship with Mihir Rumao for also scoring the second highest marks in science.
Dhruv Hatkar won the Br Edmund Rice Scholarship for scoring the highest marks in sanskrit.
Jayesh Shinde won the Matilda J Lopes Scholarship for scoring the second highest marks in Marathi.
