The Journey to becoming Under 14 DSO Champions 2024

The first game was played against St Peter’s School. Our school started the tournament on a hugely confident note by winning the first game 4-0

The next game was against Taramai Vartak School.

Once again our team produced a really strong performance and won 3-0.The goalscorers were …

The quarter final game was played against Ryan International School,Nallasopara.

The margin of victory was once again 3-0. This was the third game where our little champions put three goals into the opposition net. ( A hat trick of 3 goal victories)

Goalscorers..

The semi final game was played against Don Bosco School,Naigaon.

Formidable opponents right? Not at all. They got beaten 3-0 as well. For the fourth time our team maintained this really impressive goal scoring form. The goalscorers.. ( Kairon scored one,and Yash almost scored a hat trick)

The finals were played against Matrix Academy,Virar – and they proved to be our toughest opponents.

The margin of victory was narrow this time. We won the finals thanks to a solitary goal scored by Andrew Fernando.

GOLDEN BOOT WINNER

The Golden Boot for our team went to Yash Mali for top scoring with 4 goals.. ( He is surely the future Laimine Yamal of St Augustine’s )

GOLDEN BALL ( BEST PLAYER)

Our school coach Sir Murugan selected Andrew Fernando to receive the Golden Ball as best player of our team. ( Even Messi was impressed by the way he played)

SUPER SAFE GOALKEEPER

The Safe Hands award for excellent goalkeeping went to our goalkeeper Varun Mishra. He did not concede a single goal in the entire tournament. ( Allison Becker started clapping when he heard about this!!)

Congratulations on winning the DSO Champions in Vasai! Our hard work and dedication, even during heavy rains, truly paid off. It’s great to see our principal and sports teacher supporting our team’s efforts. We all make a fantastic team! Keep shining and winning!
