Memories shared by our ex student Bhavish Sudhir Raoo ( SSC 2011)
I started playing football from the age of nine and started playing for school teams since I was in class 6. I am the grandson of Mrs Shoba Hegde who taught for 34 years in St Augustine’s School.I trace my passion and love for football to the influence of Ms Shoba and my grandfather Mr Gajanan Hegde. They both believed in me and encouraged me.
I would like to thank several people from school who encouraged and supported me in my love for sports during my school days.In a special way I remember my class 7 teacher sir Xavier and my Library teacher Mr Damodar. They inspired me both in school and out of school.
Special thanks also to all the teachers who taught me in the primary section and the headmistress,Miss Francesca
Thanks to all my class teachers from the secondary school who always supported me.

All the very best dear Bhavish (Sonu) for your forthcoming football matches. As my nephew (my younger sister’s son), he was always in the moods of playing football anywhere & anytime. So he used to move around Mumbai, Pune & other parts of India to play football at any short notice given point of time other than his profession. He has that zeal & passion to play, which made him to play the game & get selected to Indian team to play the matches now. I wish him all the very best again to do well & shine out in the Indian team to make his wonderful career ahead & come out with flying colours in life.
Good luck dear “Sonu” (Bhavish).
Bravo Zulu & Kudos to you ahead.
