Goalkeepers will tell you that their life is a very difficult one.
Very often it’s hard to know where the ball is when there are so many players in the way.
It can get really lonely and boring sometimes. Everyone else in the team is having fun playing football while they have to wait and watch.

Very seldom is there anything for them for them to smile about..
Making those crucial saves doesn’t really come easy.
Sometimes other chaps who aren’t playing will stand around and say encouraging things to them.Backup and emotional support always helps !
Of course,on the plus side,if the ball is not coming your way anytime soon- you can sit ,or even lie down for a bit !
