Opening Ceremony of the Edmund Rice Pre Primary Building

The opening ceremony for our new Blessed Edmund Rice Pre Primary School building took place on the 7th of June, one day before the feast of Pentecost .Bishop Thomas D’Souza graced the blessing ceremony of the new pre-primary school building with his warm presence and heartfelt words. His presence was a source of joy and deep spiritual significance for the school community. Bishop Thomas led the blessing of the building with solemnity and simplicity, invoking God’s guidance and protection over the children, teachers, and all who would walk through its doors. He spoke about the vital role of early education in shaping young hearts and minds, and encouraged the community to continue fostering a spirit of love, learning, and faith. His presence made it a truly memorable and inspiring event.

The blessing of the building was followed by a ceremony in the school hall. Students from the pre primary, primary and secondary schools presented the gathered audience with a lovely variety program of song and dance.
