Correia Memorial:10A v/s 9A

10A completed their third win in three games by defeating 9A by 2 goals to 0 in their last group game.The playing conditions on the school field were very difficult today.The rain over the weekend had turned it into a bit of a quagmire.The ball got stuck in the mud and the mud got stuck to the players – who will need a very good bath to wash it all off.However 10A were very happy with themselves because even though they were completely covered with mud they emerged as the leaders of Pool B at the end of the game.
They have 9 points in their tally are therefore now absolutely sure of a place in the semi finals.
Lynne and Darshan were the goalscorers and Jayesh S was declared man of the match.
