The Sports was slightly different this year because the size of the track had to be reduced from the usual 400m track to a 200m track.This was because large parts of the field at the far end were still damp and soggy because of the extended monsoon we had this year.
The shorter track placed the houses much closer to the runners and as a result there was great participation and cheering from the boys as they urged their athletes on.
Murphy House,who had been in the lead for all the days of practice and rehearsal were pipped at the post by a jubilant Gomes House.

Gomes House emerged as the winners of the Championship Shield of Sports 2019.

Murphy House had to be content to be Runner’s Up and winners of the Marching Shield.
Whiting House received the shield for being the Best Disciplined House.
