It has been a long standing tradition in school to have a mass on the Feast day of our Mother of Perpetual Help,to pray for her blessing and protection of our staff and students during the course of the academic year. This year too,on the 27th of June, the Eucharist was celebrated in the school hall by Fr Raymond Rumao.Special prayers were said for the success of all activities that will be conducted in the course of our Golden Jubilee Year.
We remembered that the tradition of celebrating the Feast Day of Our Lady of Perpetual Help has its roots in the deep faith that our founder Blessed Edmund Rice had in Mother Mary.
Grateful thanks to all the PTA members who came to school to help supervise the students of other faiths while the mass was going on.
(Thanks to Sir Barry for the photographs)
