Teacher’s day 2022 and felicitation of Jubilarians

Teacher’s Day was celebrated in school again after a gap of two years and it was a warm and wonderful celebration. Students of the pre primary,primary and the secondary came together and presented a well choreographed program for the enjoyment of the teachers. The day was made even more special as retired teachers and staff members were also invited to attend the program so that it would be remembered as a special Golden Jubilee Teacher’s day celebration.

The second part of the program was the felicitation of 5 members of staff who had completed 25 years of service to the school. The silver jubiliarians felicitated were Mrs Greta Gonsalves,Mrs Sunita Furtado,Mr Anthony Gomes,Mrs Geetha Iyer and Mr Mahesh Patil.

Each of them was presented with a gift, a souvenier and a book of memories for 25 years of dedicated service. Speeches were made and thank yous were said and it was good.

All retired staff members and teachers were then presented with a special souvenier to mark the Golden Jubilee of the School

Mr Neville Gonsalves,one of the core members of the ex student’s Golden Jubilee Committee,spoke to the staff about the plans that the Ex Students were making to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.

The program then ended with a grand lunch .Many teachers and ex teachers continued to sit around in the hall after the lunch was over chatting about days that had gone by and sharing memories.
