The Augustine’s Vasai Alumni conducted a fabulous sports event for ex students in school on the 5th and 6th of November.Particpants from alumni over the years took part in basketball,box cricket,carrom and table tennis.The event was blessed and inaugurated by Fr Neelam – who is an ex student of our school.There was great energy and enthusiasm on display.Senior ex students hoped that muscle memory would help them remember long unused skills in games that they once used to play in school. There was lots of joy and laughter.The values of good sportsmanship embedded since childhood were very evident in the great spirit on display.
The chief guest for the opening ceremony was Raphael Dias – father of ex student Leslie Dias, the main sponsor for the Sports Event.
All who participated in the games were winners because they got a chance to once again relive,for a brief while,the joys of playing in school like once they did long ago when they were small.
