Last Picnic in school

A write up on the last picnic that the SSC batch of 2024 went for as students of St Augustine’s School.After this what lies ahead for them are the SSC exams and the future held in God’s hands.

On a fine Friday morning ( 1/12/23) we got ready to embark on a fun and exciting journey to Green Hills Resort, Nalasopara.
Since this was our last picnic we tried to make every bit of it memorable!
We departed at 8:30 am and reached the destination in about an hour . The picnic spot was located in the interior part of nalasopara away from the bustling and busy industrial areas .
As soon as we reached we were greeted and given breakfast which was unusual but was indeed a hit ! It was noodles ! Later on we were asked to change and were sent to enjoy a fun filled day in the pool along with fun slides . Every corner of the resort had something unique like the water balcony , a place to play football , multiple gardens , etc
Lunch was served at around 2pm after which we all took a final dip in the pool . This picnic was the last one for us class 10 students which was quite saddening . We remembered moments and memories from last year’s picnic at Nandanvan which was awesome as well . At 3 pm we were asked to change into comfortable clothing and were boarded into the bus along with a parting gift of ice cream as dessert . While coming back we sang songs and enjoyed the return journey. We reached school at 5pm and realised that we had reached the end of a wonderful journey ….
I think we learnt that happiness is not about getting all you want, it is about enjoying what you have As soon as we reached many of us were greeted by our parents who were eagerly waiting for our arrival .
Thank you to all our teachers and staff for this wonderful experience on behalf of all class 10 students
