Pre tournament favourites 10C went down to a shock 2-0 loss against 10 A in their opening game.
Oswin Mendonca and Deep Patel gave 10A a two goal lead early in the first half.Stout defending from 10A and the slippery state of the St Augustine’s football field ensured that 10 C did not manage to find a way back into the game.
Sidh Tanna thought he had scored a goal in the second half – but unfortunately for him the ball,which he had managed to put past the 10A goalie,got stuck in the water and refused to go over the goal line!!
Oswin was declared Man of the Match.
