Primary School Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day 2018 was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Primary School.The program was conducted by the students and teachers of class 4.School manager Br Lurshai presided over the event.The guest of honour Mrs Saira Gaikwad was escorted by the head boy.After the flag was unfurled and the gathered assembly sang the National Anthem and then the Flag Song.
Darwin Moraes and Ethan Gonsalves gave speeches in English and Ajay Katke gave a speech in marathi.
Savion Dmello recited the poem ” Colourful India” .The boys of class 4 the sang the patriotic song “Mera Mulk,Mera Desh”.
One of the highlights of the Primary School Independence Day Celebration was seeing some of the students dressing up as Freedom Fighters and Leaders of the past.They read out the thoughts of the leaders they were representing.
The program came to an end with a brief address by Ms Raquel Dias and with the singing of the school Anthem.
