Farewell SSC 2019

The batch of SSC 2019 gathered in the school hall on the 8th of February for their farewell ceremony. They did not realise it then, and some perhaps do not realise it even now, that it was the last time that they would be gathering together as one group in the hall.
The time to bid farewell had arrived.
Some memories of times gone by were revisited by looking at old photographs.

The farewell ceremony had a time of prayer,a time for words of advice and encouragement and a time for celebration.
DSC_0089School Captain,Prakhar Chaube, said words of thanks and appreciation on behalf of the students of SSC 2019.Each student was given a souvenir which had their class photograph on one side of it.

The other side of the souvenir had a picture of our founder Blessed Edmund Rice on it – to remind them of the inspiration that he could bring to their lives.
er
It also had words of this old song on it – to remind them that they should never give up on their dreams.

They were reminded to always develop their talents and skills because they were part of an education system that by and large did not encourage excellence outside the prescribed curriculum.

They were reminded by Gandalf to use their time well -especially in times of trouble and discouragement.

There was a well prepared cultural program after that and some time for eating and celebrating.Mihir Rumao then said a nice thank you on behalf of all of them and the program came to an end.

Thanks and congratulations to all the teachers who prepared the Farewell Ceremony.
