SAS Primary school put up a beautiful and well organised Sports Day on the 14th of December.Dr A Shaikh,Vice President of the PTA was the Guest of Honour for the event.The parents who had assembled to watch the event were treated to a colourful,vibrant,energetic and enjoyable display of sporting activities.
The program began with a welcome dance followed by a walkpast marchpast.The students of Classes 1,2 and 3 led by their class teachers walked passed the assembled parents and waved at them.
After that the official marchpast was done by the students of class 4.
The four houses were led by their respective captains and vice captains and the marchpast was led by Primary Head Boy Dev Giri.
After the oath was taken there were plenty of Races,drills,prize distributions and Novelty Events – all conducted with promptness and precision.No time was wasted and everything was done really well.
Dr Shaikh spoke at the end about the importance of sporting activities in the school curriculum and congratulated all the students and teachers for a truly wonderful performance.
The Primary School Coordinator brought the days events to a close with a vote of thanks.
