“Dancing is creating a sculpture that is visible only for a moment.” – ErolOzan
Life is like dancing – it’s not about getting from one place to another. Its’s about enjoying each step. To encourage our children during the ongoing pandemic and to engage them in a creative process we at St. Augustine’s Primary School had organised a dance competition in which the students participated with great zest and excitement .
They dressed in colourful costumes and whirled and twirled around, living the joy of each moment to the fullest.Dancing is very important for children as it improves flexibility , coordination, balance , range of motion along with creative and physical development .Dance is often known as the joy of movement and the heart of life as it engages our mind and soul to music. The message that we wanted to put forth to the students was ……Learn from yesterday. Live for today. Hope for tomorrow.
